Fiber Splicing

Our experienced technicians at Mongo Optics are familiar with different counts of optical
fibers and carry the proper tools and equipment to splice fiber optic cables. Mongo Optics
is dedicated to Building Connections That Count.

Fiber optic cables, constructed with glass, are used to transmit light signals that carry data
and information from the attached light source to a receiving device at very high speeds.
The core and cladding trap light, which allow signals to travel long distances within the
cable length to provide communities, areas, homes, and businesses with reliable fiber
optic cable, Internet, and phone signals.

Occasionally fiber optic cables need to be joined together to create a longer fiber optic
run or to rejoin fiber optic cables that have been accidentally damaged or broken. This
technique is referred to as fiber splicing.
